New Digs.

Exciting times are upon us as we move into our awesome new premises just a little up the road from our last studio to one of the most exciting little spots in NI – Ballyhackamore (AKA Ballysnackamore).

We wanted to be the first web and digital agency to move into the area and take advantage of its close proximity to Belfast City Centre and great local businesses like Mauds, Camile, Horatio Todds, Little Wing Pizzeria and The Stolkers Halt. All those lovely eateries did not sway our decision to move to Ballyhackamore… honest!

Where it all began

14 years ago this September, Christopher started Big Pixel (formerly CO-Net) in a small office just off Boucher Road.  It was perfect for a small team and company to grow.

Fast forward a few years, through hard work and a great team effort, the business had blossomed. We doubled in size and we were offering a much higher quality of website design in Belfast than ever before.  We were starting to work with larger clients and it was at this point we felt a change was needed, not only location but a change of focus, direction and most importantly our image.

All hail Big Pixel Creative

Co-Net re-branded to Big Pixel Creative and we moved into the City East Business Centre almost 3 years ago along with bringing on more new staff.  The business centre was the perfect place for us to expand, have a shiny new office and show the world we are more than capable of battling with the “big boys” in the market.

The start of 2018 has seen Big Pixel continue to grow from strength to strength and now, with a very talented bunch of individuals we have decided it’s time we have our own space and Ballyhackamore is the perfect location to allow this to happen.  It’s cool, trendy, up and coming and growing fast (a little like us really).

With recent, new relationships formed with St Anne’s Cathedral, Mash Direct, Culture Night, Cathedral Quarter and Titanic Belfast it seems that things aren’t going to slow down anytime soon for us.

We’re all super excited for the future of Big Pixel Creative!

Come and see us for pizza, beer and an ice-cream (preferably in that order) anytime!
